I been doing this Substack thing for a while now and with time I have realized how I’m not a big fan of advertisements or giving everyone “left and right” shutouts just because they ask or because they want to pay me … with that said there are couple of people on Substack that I have met in person and/or I been chatting for a long time and Yela is one of them.

I met Yela couple of times at Berkshire AGM and not only is he a good guy to talk to (most of the time lol) but he is a smart and sharp investor who has started a Substack (and has some other cool things he is working on) not that long ago and has been already killing it with his ideas.

There are a lot of people who charge money on Substack, some ask for more some ask for less some bring more value and some bring less… I think Yela with his The Hermit is charging -less- money and brings -more- value.
